Is snoring and bad breath related?

Snoring often causes mouth breathing during sleep, which dries out the mouth and allows odour-causing bacteria to grow more easily. In some cases, underlying conditions such as sleep apnoea, sinus issues, gum disease, or tooth decay may contribute to both snoring and bad breath.
