We generally recommend having a week away from work requiring physical activity after wisdom teeth removal. This is due to pain, swelling, and risks of bleeding after the procedure that can prevent you from your usual activities. While in many cases there is minimal discomfort after the procedure, this can be hard to predict and will vary greatly between patients - it is better to have the time off just in case you really need it!
