Yes - you can try a stock over-the-counter device as they are safe to use and will generally not cause any issues. They do tend to be more bulky and uncomfortable, less durable and often less adjustable compared to a customised device. Also, if the over-the-counter device does not improve your sleep quality or snoring, it often doesn’t mean that a customised device will not work for you.
